San Fran: Day 1

Got to San Fran okay. BTW, Virgin America = COOLEST PLANES EVER. Even though it's a 1 hour flight, you have your own tv and remote to watch the news, order movies, play games (like ORIGINAL DOOM!!!!!), or make a playlist from their songs and listen to music. Among their music? Les Mis, Sweeney Todd, Wicked, West Side Story, etc. SQUEE! Plus the inside was just plain cool. They have purple side lighting instead of basic lights, the chair backs are slick white plastic instead of cheap cloth... it was just awesome.

Took the BART into the city, grabbed a bite at the greasiest pizza place I've ever eaten in my life. I walked around and went to Union Square, where I made another 100 page dent in my Coruscant Nights book while I waited for Meg to get out of class.

We meet up, head back to her place to drop off my luggage, then set out in search for food. As we were walking around the Hispanic part of San Fran, no surprise that we ended up at a Mexican restaurant. What sold us was that there was a sign saying that Travelocity had marked it for an awesome find. The food was actually pretty good!

We then joined up with a lot of her theater friends to go see a play their teacher had written/directed. It was pretty good; long, but good, and lots of men in loincloths. :D


And now... sleep. For a day of sleeping tomorrow.
