The Dark Knight was one of the most emotionally draining films I have ever seen.

You held you breath and covered your mouth in fear and anticipation of what was about to happen. You had no doubt that the joker would do it; you just weren't sure how much the director would show.

You jumped out of your seat in fear and surprise. Several times.

You moved to the edge of your seat watching with eyes wide open and heart pounding.

And the entire time you sat there watching one of the most brilliant performances ever by a man, you felt a growing stab in the heart because he was gone.


Bravo, Mr. Nolan. Bravo.
