Just for the record?

I think I hate Velvet. Like, really really hate velvet.


I have black and red fuzzies everywhere; I've had to recut pieces several times just because I didn't stay-stitch fast enough before the edges started unraveling.


Costume list so far:

Bodice - just need to overlock all the seams/edges and do the edges, plus add zipper/some form of closure.

Sleeves - still need to do.

Underskirt - just need to hem, overlock seams, and make waist band. Waiting for over skirt to add snap-closures.

Over skirt - Still need to make Muslin mockup, cut, and sew. Still need to order white velvet trim. Sunday project.

Under Under skirt - still need to make. Maybe Sunday project as well? Going into Monday project.

Accessories:

Shoes - maybe? Need to see if work shoes will work
Tights - need to get
Earrings - wah
Wig - Lesley???
Crown - blah.

Am hoping to get almost everything Velvet done by Tuesday, since I'm spending Tue/Wed at mom's and can use her overlock/have her help me do stuff.
