I was feeling really stressed out when I woke up yesterday afternoon (I had a daytime sleep due to night shift). So eventually I decide to take some codeine after getting something into my stomach. It put me to sleep, sure, but then I woke up all shaky (and I'm literally still shaking some seven hours later). I have no idea why. Codeine has never done that to me before. And I'm taken some powerful stuff because run-of-the-mill painkillers have no effect.
GAH. It must be this Friday exam that's chipped me right down to the bone. I've basically given up on achieving 20%, which would give me an A overall in the subject. I'll be very satisfied with a B. I think my complete lack of knowledge in this class is getting me down. I really devoted all my energy to my law and politics classes. The lesson here: never do international relations again. You're not interested in it, Amsie.
EDIT: On the upside, I just realised all my law examinations next year are open book. OMGYAY! And since I'm not doing any more non-law subjects, I won't have to go through any other closed book examinations anytime soon.
I heard from my parents. They are currently travelling around Australia looking at other buses (long ago you'll remember they bought another bus - well, apparently it'll take too much money to do up to the standard they desire). They're heading to Adelaide at the moment and goodness knows how long they'll be down there (they're seeing family in Victoria on the way). This means I'll have to change my flight from the 18th to a week later... or something. Mum has agreed to pay the change fee and the difference. I'm literally only going up there for her. I'm hoping they'll feed me (usually I have to buy everything myself, but given the lack of work I've been getting due my to uni commitments, she might take pity on me).
*looks at recent posts* New flisters, I really don't complain all the time! It's just I'm having an awful week :(.

I had the same problems as last week. The quality is not very good, some of the caps show a weird pixelated pattern (example). It seems like the good quality versions are just not available anymore. :o( There are still lots of nice images, though.

Either I am very bad at calling these things or I am very good at living in denial. It's flu. Definitely flu. All flu symptoms. Joy. Now I merely hope that it is ordinary miserable flu and not media sensation evil flu. Or maybe I should hope it's a mild case of evil flu so I can have a measure of immunity? Whatever. I'd settle for not feeling miserable.
Back to watching The Universe and hoping I fall asleep soon so I can forget how awful I feel. :p

i joined the security team for the bawdy caste, san francisco yay area's rocky horror picture show shadow cast. they are hilarious, awesome people and you should come see them perform. the shows are the first saturday of the month in menlo park, and the last saturday in san francisco. they also do awesome things like a shadow cast version of clue. more information is at their website: http://bawdycaste.org
